He filmed some of the movie at the Monroeville Mall. I got all excited when I saw that pic up the other day when he posted it on My Space. I am a huge Smith fan and I am glad to see that tribute, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside lol.

Guaranteed they'll be available through the View Askew merch side, guaranteed. They sell anything and everything the fans want from their movies, so I think those jerseys are definitely going to get pumped out around the time of the flick coming out.

I certainly look forward to seeing it, heck, even Tom Savini has a cameo and they shot at the mall itself. :)

I wonder if anyone has ever put together a comprehensive list of all DOTD references in movies and TV. I cheer everytime I come across a reference, and it sure would be cool to have a big list.

I saw one in a rerun of "Grounded for Life" not too long ago. The two brother characters were talking, and then very randomly and not having to do with anything that they were discussing the younger brother says "Did you ever see that movie 'Dawn of the Dead'?" and the main character brother replies "What?"

I love stuff like that!

Also - if you look at the imdb page for Zack and Miri Make a Porno (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1007028/) you'll notice one Tom Savini in the cast.

I guessing they'll be more nods to Dawn in the movie.....

Aye, Savini is in the movie, a small cameo apparently. Coolio nonetheless, I also can't wait to see it just in general, especially the bits in the mall itself. :)

I wonder what the sizes are though, cos aren't hockey jerseys quite big by their nature, and as a result you're supposed to wear them baggy, right?

But I wonder what the measurements are, like what's an XL and what on earth is an XXXXL (or however many it goes up to)?!

I wouldn't half mind one though, but then again...prices, international delivery...hmmm.

Well I did order the XXXL because I like baggy clothes and I am a big guy, so I will let you know how much bigger it is once I receive it comparing it to a traditional XXXL shirt.

Most Traditional XXXL shirts are for people with a 48"to 50" Chest or slightly bigger, maybe 52"

Now if only they sold these things in the UK, the sheer cost of them already, as well as the shipping is just nuts.

I'll keep my eyes peeled.

:shifty:

You can usually get hockey jerseys in the same size that you usually wear - it'll be bigger, but it should be. i have quite a few XL jerseys and ordered an XL here. i'll post a comparison when i get it.
