did anybody else catch the premiere of this? for a network show it isn't half bad. the first ep "sacrifice" was a vampire story.

for those of you not in the know fear itself was formerly known as masters of horror when it was on cable. NBC wanted the name changed.

given the constraints of network tv it isn't surprising that some of the directors that worked on masters of horror decided not to take part in this but they still were able to retain a few - rob bowman, john landis, ronny yu and most surprisingly stuart gordon.

Ronny Yu? Rob Bowman? What the hell, I can see why they changed it from Masters of Horror...

Wow, I just watched the first episode and I LOVED it. I thought it was pretty much perfect and it left me wishing it were a full-length film. The first 5 minutes had me thinking it was going to be subpar, but it kicks into full-gear pretty quick and never lets up.

overall i have liked the 3 eps i've seen. i really am waiting on the stuart gordon episode. i am interested in seeing what NBC let him get away with.

I saw the first episode and really liked it.
I thought the second one was good.
I started to watch the third one but fell asleep (not from boredom but exhaustion).
I am definitely going to watch it again this week.
