What's interesting about all these news articles, suggesting crime is on the rise, infact figures suggest crime (including violent crime) has halved in the UK since 1995...

My guess is, it's just more difficult to commit crimes. Better security and better CCTV etc...

And as regards violent crime, a vaste majority of it is alcohol fueled...

To be fair our police do carry guns,more so in recent years!normal beat bobbies dont,but even small police stations have armed response units now!

I saw that on one of those reality "caught on camera" shows. A girl cut in line, and then got mad that this guy was talking on his cell about her, so she calls in her boyfriend who proceeds to whoop the **** out of the guy. No one else did anything but watch. . it was scary.
