so, is Anchorman 2 a good idea? I found the first one to be funny, but not a great movie by any measure. I did laugh more than usual for a movie but on repeat viewings it just didn't seem to hold its charm. If they do get around to making this one I hope its funny because I don't want Will Ferrell's career to fall flat on its face.

I loved Anchorman, but, as I've said before, Ferrell needs to dice it up a bit and try something...anything...that's a little different from his same old shtick. It feels like it's getting stale.

SNL Ferrell was funny. Anchorman was funny. Every comedy after that was seriously lacking, imo.

Honestly Will Ferrell hasn't been funny since Old School. How this man even has a career is beyond me. Talladega Nights, Anchorman, and the basketball flick were just horrible. I don't see what people see in him. He is just an overrated actor in my opinion.

In order for me to enjoy his work it would have to be more in the vein of Old School for me to sit through 90 minutes of immature bull****.
