Now I can imagine the film companies have mixed feelings about this:-
1) At the moment you can't pirate a 3D film for home viewing.
2) They can't sell 3D films/features very well to the home.
The article also mention (think back to VHS & Betamax, and HDDVD and Bluray) about the many different standard being talked about for 3D. Hopefully they can settle on just one this time!
Of course, there's one industry that I suspect just cannot wait for 3D at home... The porn industy :)
