I've figured that I'll never be able to afford all the awesome games and accessories coming out this year, so I've narrowed it down:

Definite buys:
-Guitar Hero World Tour
-Left 4 Dead
-Gears of War 2
-Fable 2
-Geometry Wars 2 (XBLA)
-Castle Crashers (XBLA)

Maybe/wishlist:
-Fallout 3
-Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts
-Mirror's Edge

There's probably more that I'm forgetting, which is a good thing, because I'll be stretching my funds as it is. How will the rest of the forum be spending those hard earned bucks this Fall?

Resident Evil 5 is coming in March, and Final Fantasy XIII won't be here till Summer of '09 at the earliest. I've never heard of "Them" or "Rainy Woods", I'll check em out.

I also just remembered Chrono Trigger DS is coming. My wallet is crying :(

hells, you see this new-ish Mega 64 video? Hee-larious:

Interesting lists guys, here's my small list (unnecessarily) split into to easy to digest categories.

Definite buys I already have money put aside for:

Men of War
Left 4 Dead

Seriously considering:

Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway
Castle Crashers

Not expecting anything great but might buy just for the sake of it:

Gears of War 2
Call of Duty: World at War

Resistance 2
MotorStorm 2
Dead Space
Fracture (maybe)
Left 4 Dead
Dead Island (maybe)

-Left 4 Dead
-Gears of War 2
Well Left 4 Dead is a given, GOW2 I shall definitely get since I realised that GOW1 was an amazing game after all...

-Fable 2
Now this I'm gonna squirt over. I thoroughly enjoyed the original and the sequel looks set to squat on it tenfold.

Fallout 3 and S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Clear Sky. That's about it. I won't need anything else...

The games I want are:

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Animal Crossing Wii
Fable 2
Final Fantasy IV (it's out now, I just have to pick it up on the next pay day)

and thats about it. There really isn't much that impresses me coming out in the next few months. Definatly quite a few renters, but not many buys are out there. Now, if next years games are actually going to come out on time I will go broke buying them. Final Fantasy 13, Resident Evil 5 and Halo Wars are all supposedly out next year and there are plenty more that sound pretty damn good.

As for Alan Wake does anybody really believe it hasn't gone "Duke Nukem Forever" on us?

STALKER: Clear Sky (PC) (end of August, woo!)

Alan Wake - IF it comes out.

Erm ... duno really. I'll probably end up getting Rainbow Six Vegas 2 at some point.

I will get GOW2 at some point, but whether I get it straight away or not is another thing. Fallout 3 is probably a definite too.

Ooh yeah, COD:World At War most likely ... but again, will I get it straight away or wait for a bit? No idea.

Dawn of War 2
Warhammer Online
Fallout 3

Probably none. I spend most of my time between Dr. Mario online, Wii Fit and Mario Kart. I still have Zelda, RE4 (Wii) and RE:Chronicles to finish and I haven't even removed the plastic from Super Mario Galaxy.

I do plan on getting Guitar Hero Aerosmith when I get some time.

Dawn of war 2, Fallout 3, Soulcalibur 4, Saints Row 2 possibly, far cry 2.

At the minute Im content with Capcom vs Marvel 2 xD I will never get bored of the randomness, a sentinel vs ctuhulu`s little brother? what a match.

Not at all. I've played most of the levels already, but I really want to walk through the game from top to bottom. There is so much more to the game than just what I worked on - it's really a stunning experience overall and so many people contributed to it - I want to see all the work they did.
