I loved Hardware! Richard Stanley is a very underrated director.

I suggested to my friends that the movie we went to that night be Hardware...Boy did I get $hit for that. I can honestly say I have not seen this movie since that time (18 years ago) but it was really lousy to me then.

My buddy wanted to see that movie so I went with.
It was the first (and only) movie I ever slept through.
I can't tell you one thing that happened in the movie.

I can agree that the film version was a little slow to begin with but I really enjoyed it overall. It was actually based on a one off cartoon strip published by 2000AD.
