I am hungry for snacks but I have no snacks, so I searched the cupboard and found an old bottle of Gløgg. On the cork it says that the best before date is:
12.09.10
22.08
What the hell does that mean? What is month and what is day/hour?

Either way though, you are fine with thear being 12 9 or 8
and the month if in 08 has to be sept or dec

Don't know what the numbers mean, but it would probably be easier just to go to the store and get some snacks, than risking who-knows-what by drinking some shady beverage.

Don't you have something like a 7-11 nearby?

I was surprised to travel halfway around the world and find 7-11 in Japan, but it turns out they have more of them than the USA.

Thanks for your replies, I drank a small cup of it, it was a little powdery.
The only 24 hour open store in my town is filled with drunk people so I rather skip it.

How does that happen? Fermentation can only produce so much alcohol before the yeast runs out of sugars to digest. Beyond that, you need to distill to increase the alcohol content.

Isn't the solution obvious? Drink the Gløgg, and then you fit right in at the 24 hour store!

It seems to me that all of those numbers are higher than 2008, so it would probably be a good bet not to kill you.
