A new film starring Tom Savini and Ingrid Pitt called Sea Of Dust is currently making horror magazine pages this month. A homage to traditional Hammer horror stories, Sea Of Dust promises 'cannibalistic harpies, zombie assassins, possessed innocents' and state-of-the-art gore effects.

Here's (http://www.seaofdust.com/) the website, which also contains the trailer. I put this one in Dead Discussion because of the obvious zombie connection.

So what do we think about this one then?

my view on modern horror is ,on the whole, grindhouse is to blame for a slew of bad movies which can now claim to be "homeges to" or parodies of, or just any other current buzz word to say, "yeah its ****, but thats why its cool...right?"
this seems right up that alley.

This movie reminds me of those old gothic horror movies and the old series "Dark Shadows." I will certainly look out for this one Capn!

Weirdly interesting, but I don't know when I'll get a chance to see this.
