No.3 (Iranian missile test) is a good one... The launch cloud is so obviously cut'n'pasted :)

the smoke over beirut one is funny too. that is a rather obvious fake and i am sort of surprised that reuters fell for it.

I don't really get the point of altering that one. To me, the original photo is much more dramatic.

First off, pretty damn impressive for such quick work, Mike!

Secondly, this was a fun article. I'd forgotten about a number of the hoaxes.

I don't really get the point of altering that one. To me, the original photo is much more dramatic.

yeah, i think it is too. the altered one has a really cheesy look to it.

the shark behind the two divers cracks me up. a funnier version of that pick would have the shark's front fins around their shoulders, giving as much of a thumbs up as an animal without digits could give.

Being from New York city the 911 Photo is disturbing.

I like the giant skeleton and the fairy hoax. That must have really stirred things up in 1917.

It doesn't say when the picture is from. But if it's from his early reign, then Castro was quite open to criticism. I saw a documentary once which criticised him, which was actually ORDERED by Castro. :shifty:
