I have to agree with this pick.I've always thought Stephen Dorff would be perfect to play Roger.Your choices for Peter and Stephen are good too.

I would have to say Lawrence Fishbourne would be a good choice for Peter

I think I would mix it up a little more...maybe Frannie would be more like Stephen and peter more like roger. I just read that and it almost makes sense. I would like to see the character of Stephen be a woman, and Roger be African American (Black for the non USA folks). I know it isn't a true remake...er...sorta. I like Stephen Dorf, and he has been good in some movies...but I axe him for playing a part in alone in the dark. I was thinking about Colin Ferral as peter. Maybe even Jaime Foxx as roger...I know I was thinking the same thing...like Miami Vice part 2. They had good chemistry. Missy Crider as Stephen...or Stephanie...:lol: and how about Frannie being a guy named Frank played by Kevin J. O'Connor. I like his voice always plays a great frightened person or wimp.

Don't know how an audience would swallow House playing an inept f*ckup. He looks the part, but it would be a bit like trying to have Clint Eastwood play Pee Wee Herman.

Dude, those are killer ideas! Sure that if it happened, though, we'd all be posting our various complaints here at the HPOTD. But like the way you mix the characters up, especially the Stephen Character turned into a woman and the Fran Character turned into a dude.


I think Laurence Fishburne could still pull off the part.
Sorry to say that I never really dug Fishburne, though he could probably pull off the role.
