Might be cuz im not a yank, but i dont get it.. either way im pretty sure this belongs in the lounge :p

Yanks are a general term fro you guys for Americans. . .and that's cool. But down here we call Northerners yankees. Anyone above the Mason Dixon line. I know there's no offence meant man. Just letting you know that thems fightin' words down here!! :D

And likewise - it's Britain ... not England, England is one of the countries that make up Britain ... (John Stewart kept making that mistake t'other day on The Daily Show when Blair was on getting interviewed).

Or indeed Great Britain, or the United Kingdom, or indeed the United Kingdom of Great Britain ... how's that for a name, eh? :D
