I like what I see so far. And the actors - John Malkovich, Thomas Jane, Sean Pertwee, and Ron Perlman...good group. I saw there were a few humorous lines in the trailer; I just hope that in the end, the levity doesn't outweigh the action. I don't mind a few doses of humor here and there - they can help relieve a little tension when necessary - I just don't like going into a movie with the expectation that it's going to be suspenseful, full of action, etc. and it ends up that people are laughing throughout it. Comedy is a separate genre for a reason. And now you have my two cents worth. :D

This shot on digital film was pretty slick and
encompassed quite a bit of scope.
The Steampunk spaceships were teh lulz.
I enjoyed it quite a bit even though
I usually go out of my way to avoid ANYTHING
with Ron Perlman in it like the plague.
The idea of having to flee to outer space & leave behind the majority of the population to face the
mutants (that even the 1984'ish warring corporate/continental factions united as one could not defeat) was played very well.
You will never have seen blood so crimson red.
