Take a look at the lyrics under "more info." Sounds exactly like the songs I used to sing in Sunday School at church -- all you have to do is replace "Obama" with "Jesus" or "Holy Spirit." ;)

Anything like this:

1. Onward, Soclialist soldiers, marching as to war,
with the cross of Obama going on before.
Barack, the royal Master, leads against the foe;
forward into battle see his banners go!
Refrain:
Onward, Socialist soldiers, marching as to war,
with the cross of Obama going on before.

2. At the sign of triumph the Neocon's host doth flee;
on then, Socialist soldiers, on to victory!
America's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
(Refrain)

3. Like a mighty army moves the church of Obama;
brothers, we are treading where the saints have trod.
We are not divided, all one body we,
one in hope and doctrine, one in charity.
(Refrain)

4. Crowns and thrones may perish, kingdoms rise and wane,
but the church of Obama constant will remain.
Gates of hell can never gainst that church prevail;
we have Marx's own promise, and that cannot fail.
(Refrain)

5. Onward then, ye people, join our happy throng,
blend with ours your voices in the triumph song.
Glory, laud, and honor unto Barack the King,
this through countless ages men and angels sing.
(Refrain)

As if Barack was going to be able to keep even half his promises before this fiscal meltdown occurred. This current crisis is actually a godsend to a populist, I'd think. Now, if he gets elected, he will always be able to say: well it could be worse, right?

Video set to private, can't watch it.

It was apparently taken down because it was attracting too much negative attention. It showed a bunch of kids singing songs in front of a big Obama flag with their parents looking on adoringly. You can read the lyrics of the songs here:

And the conservative religious brainwashing of youth on display in Jesus Camp is different how exactly...?

You believe this is something new because of a presidential campaign? It's not going away after November 4, not by a long shot. We didn't have to travel halfway around the world to fight religious fundamental extremists.

Btw, Spike Lee has stated it best, much better than any of the white Chicken Little alarmists: "Black people have got to relax. Don't expect that because brotherman is in there the first thing he has to do is start addressing every little thing that deals with us. Give the brotherman some time -- chill. I mean, he's not just going to be the president of the United States of Negroes; it's not like that. (He's going to be president) of the United States of America -- everybody."

Not much difference. Some of the Pentecostal practices exhibited in Jesus Camp seem pretty wacky to me. One difference is that the kids in Jesus Camp are praying for Bush, not to Bush. Praying for our nation's leaders, that they will exercise good judgment etc., is pretty standard in churches. But if you want to put Sing for Change (https://www.singforchange.com/) and the Jesus Camp people on the same level, that's fine by me!

I don't remember children singing songs of praise to any previous presidential candidate.

its creepy as hell, you cant help but get some hitler youth type vibes of that kind of propaganda.

not saying obamas gonna suddenly go "oh ,and lets kill jews!", but that is some creepy as **** footage, like that klan outfitter for kids website i found a while back and posted on here, sometimes people are just tweaked.

And do you believe any pre-adolescent in Jesus Camp knows the difference?

Those videos just didn't show up on You Tube. How convenient. Do we really need proof that such fanaticism exists?

All psuedo-patriotic songs in recent memory are akin to religious zealotry and may as well be considered farces. The only difference between this example and Lee Greenwood is that he made a buck from it.

The shocking thing is that Sing for America put this stuff on YouTube because they actually thought people would find it attractive and compelling. They were probably shocked by the negative public reaction.

In other words, it's "shocking" on the part of 'Sing for America' to be so naive as to believe that Americans aren't intolerant, polarized, divisive, reactionary and generally hateful, particularly around the time of a general election?

Yes, I would agree with that definition of shocking.

No, shocking that they would think Americans would be generally receptive to a North Korea-style personality cult. I would be disgusted if some conservative group got a bunch of little kids to sing songs like that about McCain in front of a big banner with an M logo (or Palin with a P logo, or Bush with a B logo). It's disturbing. Similar to that Jesus Camp video, except slightly more so.
