I will deffo be playing COD5, but not just yet. Hopefully it'll be a lot better than COD3, and it bloody well should be as Treyarch have had two years (instead of one, like on COD3) to develop it using the COD4 engine.

What will be really hard to wait for though, is COD6 - which will be back to Infinity Ward!

I would still REALLY wanna see IW do a Vietnam-based COD game, that'd rock!

I've always wondered - has anyone shown these WW2 games to their grandparents?

I just got a code to enter the multiplayer beta for this game. I'll download it later and post some impressions.

I did about three weeks writing the battle chatter on this game (right after I wrapped SH: Homecoming) - and I just played it about two months ago.

It's freaking amazing. I suppose if you are into these war shoot 'em up games, it should be a big hit.

Have you played Treyarch's previous COD game? Call of Duty 3? If so - how does COD5 compare?

And indeed, how does it compare to that totally epic COD4?

Cool - another PJ-related videogame! I'm not a survival horror gamer, and in turn not a Silent Hill gamer, but I am a big fan of the COD franchise (even though COD3 was below par by a fair bit).

Had a chance to play a few rounds. I was never a big CoD4 player (Halo 3 for life!), but I'm impressed that Treyarch was able to not completely screw things up ala CoD3.

It feels a lot like CoD4 at it's core, so if you liked that game, you'll enjoy this one.

You know, it's funny that I didn't get a chance to get that into COD III because we were so thrown into the work quickly - so I can't do a side by side - but I think this one really feels more immersive than III from what I played.

My writing partner and I literally came in and wrote about 6,000 wild lines of battle yelling based on some level designs documents - we didn't even play any of the game until well AFTER we finished our work. It was really crazy and fun.

Thanks man!

Just listen for some of the following gems -

"Grenade!"

"To the west!"

"Take that!"

"I hope it hurts!"

"This man is dying!"

It was a much more streamlined and specific process than our SH: Homecoming gig which was pretty much most of the writing from top to bottom. However, my writing partner is a WWII history nut - so he had a blast writing on it.
