(While I kept the show going week-after-week, I fell behind on announcing them here. No time like the present to catch up!)

Episode 038 (http://mailorderzombie.libsyn.com/index.php?post_id=392354)

Brother D is doing his best to not become a zombie himself, so while he's fighting off the crud that has taken residence inside his nasal cavity and throat, Miss Bren steps up and runs the show! Both Brother D and Miss Bren were guests at the 2008 Revenant Film Festival, so you will hear a little bit from Brother D as he covers that event (with a special guest appearance by another Northwest podcaster!), and Miss Bren takes this opportunity to clear through the backlog of emails and voicemails here at MOZ Central. She also announces the winner of The Vanguard DVD contest, and announces the next Mail Order Zombie contest starting with this week's episode. The current Zombie Aptitude Test answers are revealed and a new ZAT question is posed to the Mail Order Zombie family. (And thanks to Corey Graham of The Midnight Podcast for sending in a recording that does nothing but further the Is-He-Or-Isn't-He? discussion!)

Episode 039 (http://mailorderzombie.libsyn.com/index.php?post_id=395598)

Miss Bren rocked it last week, didn't she? She kept the show going and microphone warm, and now Brother D is back, firing on almost all cylinders and rocking Episode 39 of Mail Order Zombie. The review content is high this week: Miss Bren and Brother D review Episodes 2 and 3 of Zombie Hunters: City of the Dead, Dave from the Cheap and Dirty Podcast reviews the comic Dead Space, the movies Zombie Wars and Dance of the Dead get the Mail Order Zombie treatment, and four listeners submit reviews of their own as well! Answers for the current Zombie Aptitude Test are still being collected, as are entries for the contest to win your own copy of the book Zombie Movies: The Ultimate Guide by Glenn Kay. Check it out!

MOZ Presents: The Munchies 001 - The 2008 H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival (http://mailorderzombie.libsyn.com/index.php?post_id=395950)

For Brother D, October doesn't "officially" start until the weekend of the H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival. In this one-part review, one-part blog, he reflects on the festival, talks about what he liked, what he didn't like, and what he hopes to have happen between now and next year's festival. Oh, and he tells you what not to order at Tony Starlight's. Ia! Ia! Cthulhu f'thagn!

Episode 040 (http://mailorderzombie.libsyn.com/index.php?post_id=398089)

Another week, another episode of Mail Order Zombie! This week, Brother D pushes the limits and explores all new depths in zombie cinema when he reviews House of the Dead, House of the Dead 2: No Guts, No Glory and the Director's Cut of House of the Dead, the Funny version . . . all at once. To try to keep his sanity, he also (inspired by the award-nominated Outside the Cinema podcast) presents his Top 5 List of Best Zombie Movies to Play at Your Halloween Party (and then Bill from Outside the Cinema decides to drop by with a list of his own!), and if that's not enough to help keep Brother D straight, one of the MOZ Family helped out by calling in a quick review of a kinda-sorta zombie movie released by Full Moon a few years ago. Maybe that wasn't enough to keep Brother D level-headed because he does make a phone call this week (NOT to Netflix!) that may get him in trouble down the line! Miss Bren drops by for the weekly Feedback Discussion, and the answers to the current ZAT question are gone over before a new question is posed to the family. Also, we're still running that contest to give away one of three copies of the book Zombie Movies: The Ultimate Guide by Glenn Kay - listen to the episode to learn how you can win!

Episode 041 (http://mailorderzombie.libsyn.com/index.php?post_id=399989)

In this week's episode of Mail Order Zombie, Brother D tries to wash the taste of House of the Dead out of his mouth with two more DVD reviews. The DVD releases of Zombie Strippers and Hoodoo for Voodoo are reviewed this week, and Brother D and Miss Bren venture away from the TV screen for some theatrical kinda-sorta zombie action when they finally watch Quarantine and share their thoughts with the Mail Order Zombie family (pay attention - Brother D and Miss Bren disagree on a key point about Quarantine!). We finally announce some contest winners - three listeners will walk away from this episode of Mail Order Zombie with their own copies of Zombie Movies: The Ultimate Guide by Glenn Kay. Even though we had to record this week's Feedback Discussion earlier than normal, we have plenty of material to get through, and we've got all the other features and fun you've come to expect from Mail Order Zombie. Let's do it!

Episode 042 (http://mailorderzombie.libsyn.com/index.php?post_id=402726)

A Mail Order Zombie first! A zombie moviemaker swings by for an interview when co-writer/co-director of The Zombie Diaries Michael Bartlett swings by for a chat with Brother D. We also discover that country music is truly evil when we review the movie Trailer Park of Terror and watch Trace Adkins play the devil! Our Feedback Discussion runs a bit longer than normal this week because we had so many birthday wishes from the Mail Order Zombie family to Miss Bren! Thanks for sending those along! The submitted answers to the current Zombie Aptitude Test questions are reviewed, and a new ZAT question is posed to the Family this week, and we have the week's zombie news in the Zombie Beat.

as always, thanks bro. i'll be giving these a listen over the weekend.

dear god - you sat through house of the dead, house of the dead2 and the director's cut of house of the dead? you must be made of stern stuff, most folks would off in the corner wearing a straightjacket and mumbling about aliens coming to get them after watching all 3 of those titanic pieces of cinematic dog doo.

You know, maybe I'm getting a little desensitized, but I've seen FAR worse movies than House of the Dead since having launched the show . . . not many, but still . . . !
