As some of you may have heard it's Christmas time. I'm primarily a PC gamer but I always seem to get into playing 360 around this time and it just wouldn't feel quite the same if I didn't have at least one new game to go along with the renewal of my subscription to Xbox Live... can anyone recommend some new or fairly new 360 games? Despite I've yet to complete GTAIV I'm contemplating Saint's Row 2 so I can have a game to just relax with (and I also like the Chrimbo atmos when playing online), but does anyone have any other ideas?
Not Far Cry 2 because I already have it, CoD:WaW because I plan to borrow it and not Mirror's Edge, Gears 2, Fable 2 or Fallout 3 because they don't really interest me... as you can see it's quite tough to think of one.

Ehhh, Sonic... I sort of lost interest in him after Sonic 2. Thanks for the idea, but seems like another one of those I'm not interested in.

you could check out one of the killer zombie games for the 360, either dead rising, which should only run about 20 u.s. dollars these days (i'd recommend having an hdtv for that game, though) or left 4 dead, which is a blast too.

I would suggest getting L4D on PC, it will be a better investment over time (Custom content, updates, etc.).
What about Dead Space? I'm a little more than half way through the game right now, and I am enjoying it.

As for Saints Row 2, if you're expecting stress free gaming, forget it - while it is stress free for most of it, the vastly unbalanced side missions/games are either superbly easy, or stupidly impossible - thus lameness ensues!!!
Also, the game is liable to random freezes/failure to loads on certain missions - usually ones you've spent more time doing/had some trouble with - it'll freeze up before the bloody thing auto saves (and you can't manually save until the mish is complete and you've gone through about forty million screens of "you've unlocked" and so on) - more than once I had to do a big mission twice, or even thrice, because of stupid bloody game crashes/freezes/failures to load.
MAJORLY STRESSFUL, especially when it comes to the final mission (the bit involving a chopper has be fretting like an old biddy ... with a really blue mouth).
So while there is a lot of silly fun to be had, there's also an amount of stress/annoyance/aggravation to be had that's not to be sniffed at - just thought I'd provide a head's up on that front.
COD5 mind you, I recently re-played it through again, and actually, I'm pleasantly surprised. COD3 was mostly rubbish, COD5 is a vast improvement for Treyarch ... but it's still not got that extra finesse that Infinity Ward possess ... that said, I'll definitely be playing COD5 a third, fourth and even fifth time methinks.

At the risk of sounding like a non-gamer I have to admit this sentence means nothing to me

Ah yes I forgot to mention I already have L4D too, for PC... and with Dead Space, again, doesn't strike much interest in me. Maybe this topic was a bit of a silly idea, seeing as I'm the sort of person who already knows what they like. I guess I just hoped someone might point out a game I'd be really interested in, but hadn't yet heard of.
Any maybe slightly older games someone can suggest?
