Here it is http://medias.lemonde.fr/mmpub/edt/doc/20060509/769629_lettre.pdf

I can't believe no one has anything to say about this!

Where are all the Bush supporters?

I may be Hawkish, but I do not believe this letter is authentic-- if it happens to be, then I still believe it to be crap.

Whether it is us or someone else-- war is inevitable with Iran. I only hope we are the ones to prosecute it.

"The chickens are coming home to roost y'all..."

..or something like that...

burkas my *ss.

Have you not watched the news? This IS the letter, there have been many excerpts from this letter quoted on the news and such.

Quiz time: anyone know what the (PBUH) after every mention of Jesus means?

This guy isn't afraid to take on the world, and makes a few legitimate points. The United States has no right to say who can and can't have a nuclear program. America trying to police the rest of the world is one reason why anti-american sentiment is skyrocketing.

Israel, a regional enemy of Iran's, refuses to disclose information concerning its nuclear program in a transparent way, so who are they to expect Iran to give up its nuclear ambitions? That's a little hypocritical don't you think?

As for America threatening Iran with tactical nukes if it continues to pursue its nuclear program, that just further proves the mentality of the US Government. We must never forget that the United States is the only country to ever use atomic weapons against another nation.

Do we have more to fear from Iran than Iran from us?

If I was Iran I would be pursuing a nuclear program too. If not for anything else, but to serve as a deterrant against US/Israeli aggression.

Intifada at dawn still lives on!

The UN, not the USA, is currently considering sanctions against Iran if they continue their nuclear arms development. The only folks who didn't have a problem with Iran were China and Russia. That means even France agrees this time :) Unlike most places in the middle east, the populous of Iran is USA-friendly, just not the leadership. The guy is a quack by the way. What the hell is he talking about when he says he can find no historical evidence to prove that Israel exists? It is obvious that Israel is the key to most of this unrest. The notion that countries are afraid of Israel is laughable. Everyone in the middle east has their missiles aimed in Israel's direction! I am a conservative, but I do not support a ground war (or a war of any kind) in Iran.

The reaso why Israel isn't pushed into revieling its weapons secrets could be the fact that.

1. Strong U.S ally
2. 14 million Jews sourounded by 1.4 Billion Arabs
3. Non Extremist(Not threatning people with death and MAD)

I'm suprised that Israel hasn't taken out Iran's nuke plants like they did to Iraq in the early 80's. With U.S forces in Iraq to provide refueling, I don't see why they havn't, possibly waiting till talks break down?
