actually when i was taking the garbage out back at work i looked up and saw the moon, bight white, with a luminescent white ring around it, not near its edge, but a good distance away, like a rainbow.

Guess what! It's cloudy here in the UK! What were the chances of that

Bass - the moon here was bigger than normal this evening. Noticed it at around 5 p.m.

All I could get was this horrible picture when it was high in the sky:

I was playing a show in the city so I completely forgot to look in the sky... even if I had looked up, I probably wouldn't of seen it considering I was surrounded by skyscrapers.

I saw that on Friday, it was the best part of my night. I was driving home from the ex-girlfriends house after swapping back our things and at one point the clouds parted and the moon was showing. It was an impressive sight.

I saw it on Friday. I could see everything outside like it was the middle of the day.

I forgot to mention it to my partner and on her way home from shopping she calls me and says "Look at the moon. It's going to hit us!!!"

She was obviously joking but I found it funny..

Geese. Honestly, I looked at it that night and did not notice anything different besides it being a little brighter. Maybe it was the night before?

Saw it last weekend! Awesome, though I did not catch the thread until later so I didn't know that I was looking at an especially bright moon, but my wife and I did notice the moon and commented on it since it was shining through the cloud layer and had a ring around it (my grandmother always said that was an indication that a big-ass storm was on it's way - old wives tale, perhaps, but funny thing is there was a big-ass storm here a few days later.
