well, for those of you fearing (or hoping) i'd dropped off the face of the earth, i just wanted to let you'ze know i'm alive and well. took a paid week off from work to head down south and visit some family members there.
went to new orleans and got to witness the craziness known as mardi gras in the french quarter, spent a good bit of time in the casinos along the gulf coast and won a couple hundred bucks, got a killer tan by laying out in the 70+ degree weather each morning(it's below freezing and spitting snow back here at home now:(), finished a book i've been trying to get through, and took some time off from everything to get some things sorted out as far as my plans for the future....
anywho, a week without the internet and xbox was nice, but as soon as i'd dropped my bags and kicked off my shoes this evening, this was the first site i jumped to. glad to be back, and i apologize in advance for any thread necromancy i may commit.
