"A horror-thriller in which a doctor and his teenage daughter are terrorized by flesh-eating zombies at a truck stop."

Anyone seen it? I got it a few weeks ago. Fell asleep last night before I could watch it. Review coming ASAP. Looks silly, but eh...:|

*EDIT* Watched it a few hours ago....meh...Not great, but I've seen worse.:| Equal parts drama about a father & daughter, "comedy", & zombie movie. Tries to hard to be quirky & funny & just falls flat in that regard. Not enough zombies or gore to save it in that respect either.

Overall, I really wanted to like it, but wasn't impressed. Wasn't horrible, just bland. Might be worth a rent. I wouldn't recommend buying.

While Billy Zane has a certain energy, this looks highly...questionable.

I too, like Billy Zane, but dunno' about this..... Just because of him may have to check it out, though.

I agree with all of that, it appears to offer only Billy and a cute chick... reason enough to buy it no? Add it to a Netflick queue? Sure why not.

I caught about the last three quarters of this on the Chiller network last night. It has a ridiculous plot, the acting is atrocious, and generally there's nothing serious about this film. And I had really good time with it.

It's no groundbreaking piece of work, but it's a great tongue-in-cheek cheese fest for a night with some friends/loved ones and some drinks. My wife and I had a blast with it. I wouldn't go out and buy it but for something you stumble upon on late night tv, it's pretty damn entertaining. And Zane was surprisingly goopd at the deadpan comedy.

So check it out on the Chiller Network if you haven't seen it yet.

And what breaks my heart about that is you just described probably 90% of the zombie flicks that come out nowdays which is the main reason why so many of us are so thirsty for TWD. :hyper:
