Saw this guy interviewed on TV - arrogant, self-obsessed anarchist sums it up pretty well. As does "delusions of grandeur".

Good on the uni for suspending him (they may very well sack him, who knows) - it's because of people like this, that true protesting has been stifled in the UK - it's all become about violent intent and language, rather than seeking to bring about a debate and change things via peaceful means.

This banker witch-hunt is so ridiculous anyway, people just run around like headless chickens bleatering "banker, banker, banker!" and they've no idea what they're on about, who they mean and so on.

Importantly - what about the respective 'gubments' around the world who allowed this crap to be dropped on the heads of their people?

Ultimately, we all have to swallow this bitter pill we've been left with, and change the law accordingly to make sure this bollocks never happens again - basically, if the very few 'high heedjuns' cock things up so preposterously again, they get sod all money and get thoroughly booted out on their arse and serve jail time.

We can retroactively solve the ills that have already happened, the horse has bolted already.

As for "bankers", the ones that "did it" are few in number and sat right at the very top - and many of the people who haven't gotten their bonuses this year, because of all this 'rabble-rabble-rabble' style witch-hunting, are ordinary folk in offices doing an everyday job whose sallaries are subsidised to normal levels by their bonuses - bonuses which are merely one, two or three thousand quid to top up their inadequate sallaries - people whose profit sharing schemes and shares are all destroyed because of this epic fail.

And don't even get me started on the public sector ... the bloated, ineffective rabble of bought votes that it is.

...

*sigh*

Wasn't intending on a rant, but well ... there we are. :p
