Hmm, I'm initially interested, especially because I have enjoyed the sometimes schmaltzy, often fun stories Preston has done when collaborating with his sometimes-partner, Lincoln Child.

I was walking down Buchanan Street in Glasgow the other day, and among all the jugglers, pipers, human statues, anti-ID card campaigners, ban-the-bomb campaigners, bible thumpers, save-the-environemt campaigners, blow-up-the-bomb campaigners, etc. there was a Scientology table right in the middle of Scotland's biggest shopping street.

Now, it didn't actually say "Scientology: Get Brainwashed Here", it just said "free books" and they had piles upon piles of L. Ron Hubbard's Dianetics. And there were dozens of people, who probably had no clue what Scientology was or even that these guys were Scientologists, crowding around talking to them and getting their "free" book.

That creeped me out. :shifty:
