He may an awful director, but I'll give John Russo this: the f*cker can half write well.

Also, the script clears up some discrepancies people have noticed with Night over the years, like why didn't the Cemetery Ghoul try to eat Johnny. Well, it seems he was originally supposed to do so:


A close shot makes it clear that John is lying limply on the ground with the other man hunched over his form. The man is doing something with the limp body... still ripping at it... perhaps groping for money... Barbara cannot tell...

Also, Cemetery Ghoul's inconsistent speed of locomotion. These are the stage directions he was following:


Barbara drops her club and breaks into a dead run down the path. She screams. The man moves after her, but he is considerably slower than she, with seeming difficulty in moving. He appears almost crippled.

Also, his increase in speed after this point is implied to be due to him moving down a rather steep incline (down which the car rolled).
