i was watching land with a friend of mine
and he picks up on things i dont bother to
he saw the point of the movie not as just intelligent zombies
but ones who were treating the humans the way they were being treated
dead reckoning would come into town
kill zombies take what they needed and left
so the zombies decided to go to fiddlers green
kill some people wreck the place eat up a little
and then head back to their own place
like payback
come to our town and kill and take
and we will do it to you
i never bothered to look at it as
the zombies saying "come into our place and do this and we will come to yours and do it"
did anyone else see it this way
i didnt until my friend said it

We should bring down the US goverment, turn everything around to what the people want and put in our new, muppet leader to further our cause. Just like they did to countless countries in South America.
Boy, Romero brings the politicans out in everyone of us!

I blame everything on rap "music".
You can't spell "crap" without "rap":D

"The only reason we don't open our hearts and minds to other people is that they trigger confusion in us that we don't feel brave enough or sane enough to deal with. To the degree that we look clearly and compassionately at ourselves, we feel confident and fearless about looking into someone else's eyes. " - Pema Chodron

Did you mean "puppet leader," or did you mean, like, the Cookie Monster as president? ;)

I just wanted to chime in about Land of the Dead. Yeah I agree about the dead treating people the way they've been treated. That's what I like about Romero, his movies make you want to chear on the bloodshed.:)
PS bassman311 I dig the Beatles thing you got going on their.

This should help explain. It has nothing to do with Land of the Dead.....it was a response to my friend kortick.

personally i never saw it like that But it is cool now that you mention it. That would explain why they just turned around and left. They did what they came to do. They were still to evolved for my taste and as a result not scary at all imo.
