Speaking of betas, remember when they were packaging the halo3 beta invite with the first crackdown game?

Probably, but I have tested a number of games for Sony. They even asked me last week for another game, but I have been too busy to mess with it. So, I declined the offer. For this game, testers may be invited if they live in the area that the game is developed. One of those closed door tests on company grounds.

It must be a real thrill giving feedback on a game and to know you atleast played some small part in it's development.

Its cool, but it does not pay anything and I cannot choose the games or when to test them. I regestered my PS back in 1997, which Sony gave me a online account on their PS website. I filled out surveys they sent through e-mail, regestered games, consoles, and a handheld. A couple of years ago, they upgraded my account and gave me access to another site that beta tests.
