After hearing about "The Hangover" for what seems like years, I finally caught it this weekend. (How long has this thing been in theaters?:stunned:)

Without a doubt the best comedy in recent memory. I laughed until I cried. My cheeks and sides were seriously hurting by the time the movie was over.

I too thought it would be a generic vegas mishap comedy, and in certain ways I guess you can say that it is, but if anyone says that the film is predictable - They're lying. This film went in directions I never thought it would go and every single one of those directions was hilarious.

I really can't praise it enough. If you haven't seen it - get your ass to it. Unless you're one of those pansies that doesn't like vulgar movies.:p

9.5/10(because it's hard for me to give any film a full 10)

9.5/10? Blimey ... that's high.

I rather enjoyed the movie, but I wouldn't give it that. 8/10 at best, 7/10 at worst.

The lads and I had a good fun time watching it, and we're all looking forward to seeing it again on DVD when it comes out.

Aye, I think they put it back into cinemas, because I saw that it was back in my nearest cineplex and was like "what they hell?!" - it wasn't like an end of run handful of showings, but a new release style blitz.

Going in for the double-dip I guess. :p

yeah, literally everyone who's mentioned "the hangover" has went on and on about how funny it is...guess i'll have to get around to checking it out sometime soon, although i may just wait for the dvd, which is sure to have an "unrated" version with even more vulgarity and crude humor.

I will say, despite the hype, The Hangover was still a hell of a funny movie and the last, and only comedy in recent memory, to make me literally cry with laughter.
