So it was officially announced this month that Comedy Central and Fox are bringing back Futurama with 26 episodes scheduled for sometime mid-2010:

I say about damn time! Futurama was the most consistently funny animated sitcom out of all the big ones, in my opinion, I still watch the series continuously on DVD, usually one or two episodes before bed. Only the recent DVD movies seemed a bit of a let-down, but luckily their sales and the popularity of the repeats on Comedy Central were all part of this resurrection of the series. So, even if the movies weren't quite the big return for Futurama you were hoping for, let's pray to god this is.
Who else is excited?
