What's so great about yet another zombie anthology? Well, this one has only slow moving zombies that follow the rules set down in Night and Dawn of the Dead.
And if that doesn't get your motor running, there are two exclusive stories that tie directly into Dawn of the Dead. There's Time to Run by A. Giangregorio; this story is about Peter and Roger when they leave the tenement building and have to race to the police dock. And Red-neck, White and Blue by Rick Moore: this one's about the rednecks from Dawn of the Dead.
But besides these two stories, every single one of them has been picked according to the rules set down by Romero back in 1968.

This is the synopsis for the back of the book, so obviously the intent is you are reading this with the book in your hands. Check out the cover art at www.livingdeadpress.com
(Book summary)
BOOK OF THE DEAD: A Zombie Anthology Edited by Anthony Giangregorio

You now hold in your hands the most faithful, truest zombie anthology ever written and we invite you along for the ride.
Every single story in this book is filled with slack-jawed, eyes glazed, slow moving, shambling zombies set in a world where the dead have risen and only want to eat the flesh of the living.
In these pages, the rules are sacrosanct. There is no deviation from what a zombie should be or how they came about.
The Dead Walk.
There is no reason, though rumors and suppositions fill the radio and television stations. But the only thing that is fact is that the walking dead are here and they will not go away.
So prepare yourself for the ultimate homage to the master of zombie legend.
And remember… Aim for the head!
