Hey,

Dunno if this is of interest to anyone here, but the Starlight Drive-in's Rock 'n' Roll Monster Bash (http://www.starlightdrivein.com/) is happening June 4th in Atlanta, and I highly recommend it.

The party includes the Miss Monster Bash pagent.
Last year the grinder-wielding Terror Twins took the top prize in a shower of sparks! Who will compete this year and what will they do to win….WOW!
Selected contestants will appear on stage at Rock N Roll Monster Bash
and have one minute to display their special “talent” for our celebrity panel of judges!

Rock N Roll Monster Ink Contest 2006! Have any Horror, Monster, or Rock 'n' Roll inspired ink??? Prick Magazine is sponsoring this first time event and will have great prizes on hand for the winners!

Special guest judges -- The Atlanta Rollergirl, all-female, flat-track, roller derby league.

The Weird and Twisted Dr. Speculo is back with more vile experiments and contests: Plunge your head into a bucket of writhing WORMS! Dare to consume the viscous Mississippi Green Milk…UUUGGH! Can you survive THE TINGLER? When the Jaws of Steel are released…bloodshed is inevitable!
Feeling blue? Some Backyard Brain Surgery should do the trick!
Watch your friends do gross things for fun and prizes!

Explore The Freak Collection, and confront an even STRANGER THING!

Monsters from NETHERWORLD Haunted House Run Wild!

Cadaverous Creatures, Classic Cars, Creepy Hearses, and Curvaceous Cuties await you at ROCK N ROLL MONSTER BASH!

As the sun goes down, the freaks come out. The Monster Bash Orchestra, a creepy conglomeration of Atlanta rock all-stars, serves a bubbling brew of horror TV and movie themes for the masses. Rock out to blazing renditions of "The Munsters," "The Blob" and more.

Van Heineken - a Van Halen tribute band will perform, as well.

Lot's of other bands. See the website for a full list.

Then, enjoy Halloween and Pumpkinhead on the drive-in screen. There's no better way to see these cult favorites.

As an added bonus, before each movie, get ready for some retro style shocks as your eyes and ears fill with horror movie previews long thought forgotten. These ghastly mini-movies are brought to you by the fine folk at Trailers From the Trailer… a company dedicated to the collection and preservation of 35mm "B" movie trailers, snack bar promos, cartoons and more!

Consult the website for full info. Should be a good time for all!
