This all good but a NEW RE game that Doesn't suck would be nice as well.

They should make it RE4 style, it's what people want and RE4 sold more then Umbrella Chronicles did on the platform.They don't have to change it drastically like make the zombies run and stuff they could just take notes from the zombies in movies like Land and Diary of the Dead or Resident Evil Apocalypse, the opening cutscene of Resident Evil 3 which were all fast but not too fast.

Yeah, they supposedly stuck with the re4 formula when they made RE 5 and that game, although it didn't suck, it was a disapointment. They really need to re evaluate the direction in which that franchise. These rail shooters are exactly that. They are not games or campaigns if you will.

IMO it DID suck. :p First RE game I rented instead of purchased. They captured lightning in a bottle for the 4th game...they need to find a way to get it back.

Unfortunately, games just like movies have become a copycat industry. Apparently all they are interested in is maximizing their profits, just as with any other business. So they "water down" the product so they can appeal to a wider audience, thus making more dollars.

I agree with you. However, I would love to have another RE game in the same style of the first 3. I would love to relive those first few days of playing the original RE game again. The story and atmosphere was incredible. As a lifelong zombie fan, it was perfection.

I have actually stopped caring about resident evil.. the movies are total shite all of them and the games started going downhill rapidly after resident evil 3.

The whole series needs stopping and capcom needs to work on something new.

I doubt that they'll ever go back to that if only for the fact that they would have to admit the last few years were a waste and a bad idea.


Instead i can totally see that remaking a classic, RE 2 to be specisfic, in the same way they remade the original for the gamecube. Now that's sploodge worthy right there !!
