It is an interesting team for him to end up at. I honestly feel bad for Donovan McNabb. Outside of his lackluster 4th quarter in the super bowl, the guy has been fantastic, only to have his job security in danger on a constant basis. The guy should be treated like Manning or Brady, hell, even Palmer, but he isnt.

I was hoping Vick would end up in Seattle, with his old coach, and with a legitimate opportunity to play, soon.

Philly has always been a rough city for sports teams and individual stars as well. I mean Allen Iverson, probably the greatest player at his size of all time had a rough go of it for christ's sake. No wonder free agents don't wanna go there.

For the record though, the man paid his debt to society and has a right to make a living. I'm sure the peta nuts will still be out in full force though. Let the circus begin!!

He went to the team with just about the least need for him, honestly. The Eagles have a QB. In fact, they have the same style of QB. Only not quite as fast as Vick was.

Imo, both in their primes I would take McNabb any day of the week. On his best day he was never as fast or as athletic as Vick but McNabb is the better quarterback and in the end that's what wins superbowls.

But with Vick they can run a lot of wildcat options. The possibilities are endless, plus if McNabb gets injured you still have a decent quarterback to carry the team through a season.

They can do the same thing with McNabb. That was half his offense at Syracuse. People seem to forget that McNabb can run, too.

I was kinda hoping Carolina would get him. On a personal level, I hate the fucker. But Delome ain't that great. It would have been nice to have a QB with the talent to match Steve Smith's field abilities.

He's certainly free to make a living by working in some menial job like the rest of the world.
