Been reading some stuff about Peter Sellers recently, and it appears he was quite a b*stard at times.

His children (from his first marriage) only received £800 from his fortune...

Yeah, he was a dick back in the day and a very troubled person. A movie was made about his life and it showed a side of him I did not know about. I think John Lithgow played Blake Edwards in the movie.

Yep, The Life and Death of Peter Sellers. Some of the shit he pulled was just crazy, good movie, Geoffrey Rush plays Sellers. Worth a watch in my opinion.
