Nice to see him getting a bloody good round of applause, even though he does look a smidge embarrassed ... while also enjoying himself (rightly so).

Very impressive. The dude is a freakin' rock star yet it doesn't seem to faze him at all. He doesn't look caught up in his celebrity. I don't think he's ever cared about how big a star he was. Very cool.

Even if "Survival of the Dead" was the worst film in Romero's career, he deserves the ovation. Particularly in a place like the Venice Film Festival. It was about time!
