Might be getting a cream-tastic new rig this Xmas and this would be the first game I'd get if I did. Game looks fucking awesome.

It is a very good game, but not for the faint hearted if you've never played a real sim before, gameplay is nothing like the CoD games but if you like a more realistic complex combat game you'll love it! Its very hardware demanding & takes some tweaking to get running sweet, but theres patches & mods coming out all the time that are optimising & improving it, and on decent settings it looks gorgeous!. The main campaign you get with the game isnt all that great (starts well but goes downhill after the excellent manhattan part) but the single missions are good & the editor allows you to make some brilliant missions/campaigns, or do what I do & download other peoples, theres some awesome ones out there now people are starting to get to grips with the complex editor! :cool: definitely worth buying!

Just a heads up in case anyone on here is playing this game yet, Bardosy on the BIS forums has just released a new campaign & to be fair its better than the one that comes with the game!

His english is a bit off in the briefings & dialogue, but he's hungarian so its understandable, top effort!

Its the third game in the Operation Flashpoint series from Bohemia interactive (now called Arma as they fell out with codemasters who originally published flashpoint)
Its the best open world soldier sim around,far more intelligent than the CoD games,ive been playing it solid for 3 months now & it has a strong community following who are constantly releasing mods,missions & campaigns for it

Another mod has been released which looks well worth checking out, very STALKER/living dead inspired, I think i'll be giving this a go! :cool:
