From Beyond dvd [Archive]

I just picked up the new issue of Rue Morgue and it has a great spread on the forgotten "From Beyond". This is another guilty pleasure of mine. According to the article there is a special edition dvd coming out later this year, after it premieres on Monsters HD.
If only someone could get around to doing justice for "Creepshow"! Keeping my fingers crossed...

If it is not to much trouble, I am not familar with this film, I know it is from the late 80's and based on a H.P. Lovecraft work and I do remember the guy's deformed face on the video box, but what is the movie about.

The original short story and film are somewhat different. The movie version adds extra characters and makes Crawford Tilllinghast into a more sympathetic character.
