From the mind of Rob Zombie, this animated straight-to-DVD movie is a must-see for any self-respecting Rob Zombie fan.

While he's not reinventing any wheels with this sleazy little flick, he is having an absolute laugh - it's a veritable who's who of Rob Zombie film regulars, horror icons and horror movie references, nods, winks and prods - plus it's got tons of cartoon boobs in it and zombie Nazis.

Surrogates:

Fortunately, Surrogates is a damn sight better than both the history-raper, and the T-raper - so that's good news.

War, Inc:

I've been on a mini John Cusack kick of late, with another viewing of Grosse Pointe Blank, and High Fidelity (both bloody great films I've seen a few times over the years now), and so I sought out this 'ere War, Inc. as it's been oft-trumpetted as the 'spiritual successor to Grosse Pointe Blank'.

Orange County:

Years late to the party, I finally saw this flick at a recent DVD night I had with the lads - cider, tortilla chips, and a double-bill of movies (this and Pineapple Express, in this case). I knew of Orange County, mainly in-so-far as the music video for the Foo Fighter track "The One", which accompanied the movie ... otherwise, didn't know much about it.

Discuss... :)
