Predictions:

There will be a new "young rookie" to team up with Gibson and to give the MTV audience someone to "relate to"

Glover will no longer be a police officer, or at least will be relegated to a safe desk-job, but the plot will come up with some convoluted reason for him to get off his ass and out on the streets with Gibson and the youngun

Much will be made of generational differences. Some of these differences will be illustrated in a scene in which the young cop uses an iPod in some way to uncover a clue, much to to Gibson and Glover's confusion (ho ho)

No mention will be made of Gibson's character's suicidal, self-destructive nature

The "young rookie" will probably be played by an rapper with a stupid acronym instead of a real name
