Not really a fan of the films but I was just reading that work on the fourth Resident Evil movie has started. Shooting began in Toronto last week with an August 2010 release date in mind.

Paul 'Wank Stain' Anderson is on board to fuck things up as per usual and the film sees the return of stars Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter. Anderson gave an indepth statement about what we can expect from Resident Evil: Afterlife by saying, "Alice’s battle with The Umbrella Corporation isn’t finished. Last time we saw Alice, she let them know she was coming after them. It’s time to settle the score."

Grrr why couldnt Resident Evil have stayed low key like the very first game, I hate the monster the franchise has grown into :( next thing we know we'll be asked to believe the umbrella corporation owns half the galaxy & has secret labs on every planet in the solar system with zombies & 1000ft high mutant security guards roaming around

Me too. Don't get me wrong, I am a zombie fan and collector but I refuse to own a single Resident Evil movie because they all suck ass.

As for the games, it's RE1 to Code Veronica only, old chap.

The RE franchise is big dumb fun. I have to question the intent of anyone who is overanalyzing these films. Treat them like a side story of novels, take em or leave em. I didn't like part 2 that much, but dig the franchise as a whole. Bring on part 4, and more!
