Robert Ginty star of the Exterminator films died two weeks ago of cancer aged 60. Absolutely gutted.

He was one of the first ever 'video' stars and shit, I never knew he played drums for Jimi Hendrix.

No way! My mate had The Exterminator 2 on video back when we were 10 or 11 & probably shouldnt have been watching it, the one with Mario van peebles in, but anyway we thought it was great, especially the A-team style modified bin truck later on in the film
Even back then though I always wondered how he saw through that welding mask at night, you can barely see through them in daylight!

I love that film because it's so over the top. One man in a garbage truck taking on the biggest and most vicious gang in America. The film for me almost has a futuristic feel because there's a hint of apocalypse in the air.
For me though, it's all about the first Exterminator. At times it's an out-and-out gore flick!
