I'd like to discuss with him how he could go from making absolutely brilliant and amazing films like THE THING, CHRISTINE, and HALLOWEEN to making absolute crap like VAMPIRES and GHOSTS OF MARS.

How exactly does that happen?

Even Shyamalan hasn't fallen that far...

Then again, I'm crossing my fingers that Carpenter's new film soon to be released will be a return to grace for him. We can hope.
