you can get chipotle sauce in subway. its basically a type of jalapeno, not overly hot.

You can buy chipotles in the UK if you know the right places. Like Octo hinted, it's not really 'ass blood' material.

As always tastes vary, but for my money chipotle = awesome sauce.

Just remember that a good chipotle sauce is one thing, but it's kind of an 'in' flavor right now, so there are a lot of cheap ass places and fast food places using the words 'chipotle' for their questionable products. Though even some of those questionable products are good.

So it's a sauce and not a burrito or whatever?

It's a type of chili pepper. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chipotle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chipotle)

I should've looked it up myself I guess!
I feel thoroughly enlightened - still interested where the SP team came up with the ass bleeding scenario...!!

Chipotle (http://www.chipotle.com/) is also a U.S. chain of eat-in/take-out restaurants specializing in burritos, fajitas and tacos. It's technically a "fast food" joint, but much better quality than Taco Bell so it's more expensive. When you order a bean burrito, for example, you get actual beans, not a disgusting bean-like paste.

Yeah, what they were talking about on South Park is an incredibly delicious "fast food" (I use the term loosely, as the quality of the ingredients is outstanding for a huge chain) joint that lets you build your own burritos. They've got a pretty simple menu:

-steamed cilantro lime rice
-black or pinto beans
-sauteed peppers and onions
-chicken, steak, carnitas or barbacoa
-4 different salsas
-sour cream, jack/cheddar cheese & guacamole

but fuck me, do they make a lot from a little. The portions are huge, and all the ingredients are great so it's really hard to create a bad burrito. I usually eat there 3 times a week, opting for a burrito bowl without the tortilla wrap to cut down on the average 1,000 calories per serving.

There are a few knock-off chains like Moe's and Baja Fresh, but none are as good as Chipotle.

Chipotle is one of the few "fast food" chains where you can eat a healthy meal exactly the way you want it. However, given the mentality of the general public, I've seen people abuse this option by ordering triple meat-cheese-sour cream burritos that looked more like footballs than anything a normal human being should be able to consume in one sitting.

This is exactly why McDonalds and Burger King prepare their menu items outside of the customer's line of sight.

But I have to ask....is the toilet paper brown or red after use?

Red, but it's more than worth it. Plus, it's nothing a few squirts of Chipotlaway can't take care of.

the mother of all sauces is Louisiana Hotsauce, defo an assbleeder if you are new to spicy foods. Encona Habarnero and Scoth Bonnet sauce is pretty fuckin amazing too but stingy on the rectum next day.

I can't speak for other Chipotle's but the one here in Gaithersburg, MD sucks balls. I would never eat there again, and would rather risk the poison known as Taco bell.

However, since we have a large hispanic community in this part of MD and Northern Virginia real mexican restaurants are easy to find. So my thing is, why eat at a chain when you can have authentic the next block over?

Because it's fast, cheap, filling and and you can put as little or as much of whatever ingredient you like. To be honest my experiences with authentic Mexican left me thinking it's bland and boring. Tex-Mex is where it's at.

Sucks to hear about your bad experience with Chipotle, thankfully the one I frequent has been great every time I've been there, I can't say that about 99% of restaurants.

Chipotle = The bomb. Definitely "high end" fast food (which was the goal of the concept). Gooood shit.

Nope, had no idea that stuff existed...it just sounded so bizarre and abstract when I saw it on South Park that I had to see if it was authentic or a stab at something without mentioning a brand....

We have an authentic italian restaurant in a nearby town and we LOVE it...its VERY expensive but the food is beyond lush...not spicey or over the top, just flavoursome, filling food with oodles of taste and no residual blood in the fecal matter!

yeah italian would be a favorite of mine, can't beat a good minestrone followed by garlic bread and a lasagne
