Hopefully this doesn't happen. Old Kirk needs to be left in the past.

I really enjoyed the latest Star Trek Movie. My father a die hard 60's generation Trekkie Loved it as well. I thought the use of time travel to change the time-line was cleaver and worked for me. The characters were good and I can't wait for a sequel...although I would rather see a District 9 sequel instead.

Oh, I didn't mind the use of time travel and the way it worked for rebooting the series, but let's start to move away from the time travel crutch. Ya know?

indeed. as a life long scifi geek, time travel stories, along with stories of body switching, tend to be totally generic and damn near passe to me.
