wow

that thing reeks of the early 80s

that bass he is playing is right out of
the 1982 new wave scene.

If I knew about them back then I would
have followed them around like they were
the Grateful Dead, from city to city on tour.

I could have a photo album scrapbook full
of polaroids from the nights i managed to have sex
with each and every member of the band, starting
with that keyboard player---ZAP.

They dont make music like this anymore.

Once I tried to run,
I tried to run and hide,
But Jesus came and found me,
And touched me down inside.
He is like a Mountie,
He always gets his man,
and he'll Zap you any way he can.

:stunned: :shifty:

:lol::lol: FUCKING GREAT!!!!! I can't wait to show this to some friends for good laughs. Now you've got me wanting to obtain it on vinyl.

However, I think it's very far from being original ska (if you weren't cracking a joke). It looks 80's and it sounds too on-the-money; they had to of been listening to a lot of The Specials, English Beat, and any general moonstomp shit.

 I downloaded the whole album. However, I flipped through it pretty quickly and discovered that there aren't any other two-tone songs on the album :(

Regardless, I still must own this on vinyl to go with some of my other novelty records.

I believe Sonseed has a myspace page. (Not the actual band, but someone that had found that also) Maybe you could start there?

From wiki:

(Drummer) Nicky Sciarra became district manager of Community Board 7 in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. He died in 1993 after apparently choking on a sandwich.
