that's pretty frickin' horrid. there's nothing apparent about that. unless that tin got beamed up to the enterprise, those two pinched it.

Pretty clear video... So they can be easily identified...

Its disgusting!the poppy fund in the past has always been associated with WW2 veterans, but with the recent & ongoing conflicts its become all the more important again, especially as the government doesnt give two shits about veterans once they've passed their usefulness. Reading the British army forums, theres a lynch mob after these theiving bastards, and I really wouldnt want all those trained servicemen after me!

oh...
now are those cans put in mini-marts
for people to drop change into?

are they just for soldiers or do other charities
have cans as well.
cuz here depending on what store u go into
there will be one for cancer research, or
diabeties, or heating assistance.

and this is a private veterns group not
a division of a government vets program
that does these collections?

oh, and those people...ugh.
i ask because if u steal a can like that from
a store here in the US u are stealing from a dying
kid with cancer or something.
thats bad karma.

The poppy appeal is just for veterans or families of those injured/killed & is run by the British Legion, although yes there are different charities with tins in all over in various shops etc. The poppy appeal usually clicks into gear at this time of year for armistice day marking the end of the first world war, watch the ceremonies on TV tomorrow & every single person stood there will be wearing a poppy & will have made a donation. Its quite ironic though that we use a poppy when British forces are currently fighting against poppy farmers in AFG, but regardless its a good cause!

I saw someone take a tenner out of the NSPCC collection box at the hotel I used to work at once. I chased the guy out and then made the police come to the hotel, I was sooo mad, lol.

Info about the Poppy Appeal can be found >here (http://www.poppy.org.uk/)<

Same here, although thats forgotten today, what seems to be making them kick off even more is the fact that cyclops couldnt even bring himself to bow his head when laying a wreath at the cenotaph today even though the Queen & everyone else does, the army really really hate Gordon Brown
