It has been recently discovered that
there ARE indeed viruses that when
they infect your machine load child porn
on it.

http://tech.yahoo.com/news/ap/20091108/ap_on_hi_te/us_tec_a_virus_framed_me

This has been a defense for years by
those who had child porn that they didnt
put it but 'it must have been a virus'.
this defense was scoffed at until now.

An innocent couple who were arrested and basically
had thier lives destroyed, hired a computer expert to
examine the computer containing the material.
"An inspection for his defense revealed the laptop was severely infected. It was programmed to visit as many as 40 child porn sites per minute — an inhuman feat."

It is a more destructive virus, as it doesnt just harm data
or computers, but actually ruins peoples lives, finances, health,
and reputatation.

u gotta have a real hatred of people in ur black heart
to do this to some innocent stranger.

They need to find one of these virus authors and publicly execute him. And his death needs to be horrific. Something slow and pain filled. Perhaps remove his fingers one by one with a saw and then allow him to bleed to death while his testes are squeezed in a vice.

WOW! Harsh and cruel ideas of punishment DP, but I agree with you. They have to find these people and get to the bottom of it. Who are these guys, laid off program designer's and script writers? If you ask me, they're not much different than a loan gunmen or those disgruntled postal types. What is their problem? It's fun for them? You would think it takes time and energy and a knowledgable brain to cook up these schemes, and for what? Do they get paid?
I have to wonder if they are working for a certain somebody or maybe part of a terrorist group. I mean it makes you wonder if it's all part of the Microsoft undercover project, or one is in the other one's pocket, like maybe Apple. You really have to ask yourself. Why did I not put up the extra money and get a Mac? You go through 3 computers in the last 10 years because of this stuff and your left with a pile of shit and a wake up call, but it's already to late, you spent more than a Mac by now.

Justice is way past due.

i knew the whole child porn on the computer charge was bogus for most times when i saw the x files movie. martin landau's character was talking to fox mulder and fox goes "they're raiding your apartment and bringing you up on charges" and landau replies "what is it? kiddie porn again?" so the government sometimes needs the business just like all other places

Its not really news though man, viruses that place child porn on your computer have been around for years, but i wouldnt say totally innocent victims in most cases, you normally pick up these viruses from "questionable" porn sites in the first place.

Both limewire and kazaa have been known to spread them around aswell. so beware guys.

Eh... Ya just gotta keep your nose clean. Sweep it every couple days or so. Get Webroot or something. It's all good. Child porn, however, is no good at all. I want to injure the sick faulks who actually make that crap. Love the sig, jded.

This happened to a university lecturer in the States a while back.

There is a program called Netbus or BackOrifice that you can use to take over a victim's computer. One part of the software you install on the victim's computer (in this case by physically getting access to the machine and installing it on there via floppy or USB) and the "client" part you install on your PC. Basically, it's intended to be "prank" software - it gives you a control panel with lots of options to do stuff like make the victim's CD tray suddenly pop open, make the screen flip upside down, type a message to appear on the screen, hide the mouse cursor, etc. However, it also gives the user the ability to drop files onto the victim's desktop.

Apparently a student who had a vendetta against this particular lecturer (for failing him on something), decided to procure some child porn and send it onto his victims desktop. He then uninstalled NetBus and called the cops. Nasty, nasty thing to do.

LOL!

I always thought that Trojan was a terrible brand name.

I mean, if you think about the original Trojan horse - it slipped into the city under false pretences and, once it was safely inside, burst open and released its cargo of troops who then overran the inside of the fortress. Not exactly what you want from a condom. :rockbrow: :D
