So I was coming out of work this evening about 5ish, and noticed a particularly bright star up in the southern sky, which I know is Jupiter... However, there was an equally bright star overhead, which, just before I got into my car, I noticed was moving.... It was moving about the speed of high altitude jet - maybe a bit faster, but I noticed the light from it was a constant clear very bright dot, with no flashing lights. Also, as I continued to watch it, the brightness of its light did not change.
Suspicious about the nature of it, I thought it had all the qualities of a satellite but was too bright so just did a google and found this - http://spaceflight1.nasa.gov/realdata/sightings/cities/view.cgi?country=United_Kingdom®ion=England&city=London (look at the 5th line down)
So surely, I've just seen it :)
I'm amazed how bright it was :)
