As a contestant on that show, this is sad news. :(

Firstly, that's a damn shame. He was a young guy.

Secondly, let's hope Kari Wuhrer is still healthy and active.

Finally, you were on Remoter Control, Philly?! I always thought your picture was somewhat familiar. Seriously...

Oh, and here's an article (http://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/TV/11/16/obit.ober/index.html) about it, but no real mention of a cause of death.

Ober died on November 15, 2009, at the age of 52. Lee Kernis, Ober's representative at Brillstein Entertainment Partners, said according to friends Ober had been feeling ill and was complaining of headaches, chronic chest pain, and flu-like symptoms Saturday afternoon and did not meet them later as planned.[7] He is survived by his mother Claire Freeman of West Hartford, Connecticut; his father Burton Ober and stepmother Iris of Palm Springs, Florida; and brother Andrew Freeman of Old Greenwich, Connecticut.

A shame. I used to love that show. That is pretty young to go. Cool that you were on the show Philly. Bet it was fun.

Yeah, Kari Wuhrer was definately hot back in day. Perhaps still, I dont know. But she was nice, before the show she came up and introduced herself to the contestants and shook our hands. Colin Quinn did not. I am not a lip reader, but I could clearly see that Colin Quinn called me a "son of a bitch" to Ken Ober before the show started. Dont know why.

The thing is, I dont have the proper hardware to convert the VHS to digital.....;)

EDIT: I forgot, yeah I do! Perhaps something to do this weekend...

Would be cool to see, Philly. The maddest thing is that I've probably seen it too because I never missed an episode. I loved that show.
