This story reminds us that whatever little problems we might have are really nothing compared to the real pain that some people have to deal with.

Damn, that's tragic! :(

It's weird, though - that's the second time today I've read about someone dying in this exact situation: on Hellsing's "Ted the Cave Diver" thread, there is a link to a ficticious blog that references one Floyd Collins: here are links to the blog (http://www.angelfire.com/trek/caver/page2.html) and a wikipedia article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floyd_Collins).
Back in 1925 Collins was trapped for fourteen tortuous days in a Kentucky cave before he died.

Damn, that's tragic! :(

It's weird, though - that's the second time today I've read about someone dying in this exact situation: on Hellsing's "Ted the Cave Diver" thread, there is a link to a ficticious blog that references one Floyd Collins: here are links to the blog (http://www.angelfire.com/trek/caver/page2.html) and a wikipedia article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floyd_Collins).

Yet another reason I dont want kids, Im into skydiving & other dangerous sports, dont want anything putting a cap on that!

Very sad, his girlfriend is beautiful. What a horrible way to die...Wonder why they couldn't have just broken some of his bones to free him? Obviously they would have thought of this...

or light blast some rocks. theres no danger now since he's dead. and it can be done.
