In celebration of the season...

You know, some things just don't mix with Christmas. I always enjoy watching Manson's parole hearings for their sheer humor and entertainment value. "Let me out of here or my lord Satan will devour you!" and stuff like that. The man will never see the light of day, but I'd be the first to buy any new books he puts out just for the entertainment/fiction value.

Anyway, I was thinking that there are alot of things that shouldn't mix with Christmas but would be absolutely hilarious to see at the same time, "The Charlie Manson Christmas Special" was the first thing that came to mind. It could be a documentary about following Charlie around on Christmas day. Other examples would be Metallica or Dr. Dre doing Christmas albums. While that could certainly be interesting, eh... then you have some interesting things that have already been done that should have never been done. Perry Como's and David Bowie's renditon of "Little Drummer Boy" -- why? I dig Como and Bowie, but who thought it would be a good idea to have the two of them sing together? And I'm not even going to comment on "a very special episode" of some series that just make you scratch your head and say: "Huh?".

Anyway, you all have any examples of things that should just NEVER mix with Christmas but would be great (in a very wrong sort of way) if they did?

Speaking of things that shouldn't mix...

This is probably one of the most frightening things I have ever seen, I couldn't imagine having to be tortured into listening to it:

Hmmmm...

A Live Nativity: The Jon and Kate Plus 8 Christmas Special: Each of the children gets a turn being the messiah in the manger as Jon and Kate play an estranged Mary and Joseph...

VH1's Different Strokes Christmas Reunion: A reality special. The reunited cast moves into together for an extended Christmas Vacation. Don't miss episode 6, where they make Gary Coleman dress like an elf and shout "Whatchoo Talkin' 'bout, Willis" repeatedly in the strip club while Dana works some rehab therapy magic on the pole...

Rob Zombie's Remake of Ruldoph and the Island of Misfit Toys: In this live action remake, Hermey the Elf (Vin Diesel) must lead an army of abominations against the Evil Toy Maker...

and of course,

John Bobbett as the lead in A&E's Presentation of: A Nutcracker Suite.

To name a few :D

As a complete coincidence, the other day I downloaded an album of Charles Manson music that was compiled after...his troubles. Not too bad from an artistic standpoint. Kind of odd to hear Manson sing about girls, etc.

Santa's Cumming - a Christmas-themed gay porn starring Jeff Stryker from Zombie 4: After Death. (I only know of this film via the latter movie's IMDB page before you ask... :D)
